Ethiopia grows the coffee the world is asking for.

Finding the right buyer is the hard part.

Every lot has a buyer.

We find them. You keep trading.

Every lot has a buyer.

Ethio Bean Connect puts Ethiopian coffee suppliers in front of the exporters who need their lots.

Three walls, and every lot hits at least one.

Quality swings between harvests.

A roaster wants the same coffee twice. Two harvests rarely give it to them, and one bad delivery ends the relationship.

Paperwork loses contracts.

Europe now wants to know the exact ground a lot grew on. Lots with thin origin records get turned away at the door.

Suppliers wait to get paid.

Coffee goes out, money comes back late or partly. Washing stations carry that risk alone.

Marketplace

Coffee looking for a buyer, and buyers looking for coffee. Quote the reference when you contact us and we will put the two sides together.

Graded for export, G1 to G5.

These are indicative levels, not a quote. Every lot is priced on its own cup, grade and moisture. Ask us and we will confirm the same day.

Four steps, start to finish.

Step 01

Post the lot

Origin, grade, quantity, what you want for it. Two minutes.

Step 02

We check it

Grade, moisture, and the origin record, before anyone sees it.

Step 03

We match it

We already know which exporters are short of exactly your lot.

Step 04

You trade

You agree the price. We stay in it until the coffee moves.

Nothing leaves here unchecked.

Grade and screen size

Read against the grading certificate, not against a promise on the phone.

Moisture

Measured before the lot is offered, so nobody finds out at the port.

Origin record

Down to the washing station, for European buyers who have to prove it.

A sample in your hands

You cup it before you commit to a container. Always, without exception.

What each origin actually gives you.

This season the south is down and the west is having a bumper year. If your usual origin is short, we will tell you where the volume actually is.

The questions people actually ask.

Can I get a sample before I commit?
Yes, and you should. Nothing goes to container without a sample you have cupped and approved. The contract is written against that sample.
How do I know the delivery matches the sample?
The contract names the grade and the cup. If a delivery does not meet the description it is written against, it is not your problem to absorb.
When does the supplier get paid?
We agree the payment terms in writing before the coffee moves, and we hold both sides to them. Suppliers waiting months for money is the thing this business exists to stop.
Can you handle the European traceability paperwork?
We collect origin records at the washing station level as part of checking a lot, so it is ready when a buyer asks rather than scrambled for afterwards.
What does Ethio Bean Connect cost?
We take a commission on a completed deal, agreed with you up front. Nothing to post a lot, nothing to look.

Post your coffee.

Tell us what you have or what you are missing. We read every one and come back within a working day.

If your type, origin or grade is not on the list, choose Other and type it in.
It goes on the board as soon as you send it. Tell us if anything needs changing.
Costs nothing to post, and nothing to look.

Every field is required unless it says optional.

This goes straight onto our board. Your name is never shown on it.
